| | Again this year, the city, and perhaps the committee elected to stick it to the retired ones. Then maybe the committee didn't have a choice. Either way, from my view point, going with the Anthem High Deductible wasn't a good choice, as many of those retired can't afford the deductible. Sure the monthly cost is lower, but in the long wrong the over all cost is much higher, thus forcing those whom can or willing to do it into Advantage HMO. The main problem with this, it means giving up your family doctor for someone else, which may be fine for the long term, but is almost like starting over. But then, I should use my brain, what little I got left. Perhaps the city is now attempting to force some of us out of the system. Don't know, do care.
I realize this may never be read, but at least I vented about it.
